The U.S. High Yield Bond Fund seeks total return, consisting of a high level of current income and capital appreciation.
The U.S. High Yield Bond Fund will invest at least two-thirds of its total assets in corporate debt securities of U.S. issuers, that are below investment-grade (i.e. rated lower than Baa by Moody’s or lower than BBB by Standard & Poor’s) or, if unrated, determined to be of comparable quality by the Sub-Adviser. United States corporate debt securities are securities: (1) issued by companies with their registered office in the United States or exercising a predominant part of their economic activities in the United States; or (2) issued by United States governmental issuers; and up to 20% of its total assets in preferred and convertible securities, convertible bonds and bonds with options.
