The sub-fund is an equity fund. The investment objective of the sub-fund is to achieve long-term capital growth by investing at least two-thirds of the net assets of the sub-fund in a portfolio of carefully chosen shares and other equity securities of companies in the medical technology industry or companies whose main activity involves holding investments in such companies or financing such companies and that have their registered office or carry out the majority of their economic activity in recognised countries. Without restricting the scope of the term “medtech and services”, companies in the medtech and services sector consist of companies primarily engaged in the production, development, funding, marketing and sale of medical devices and the provision of technical medical services, such as hospitals and laboratories, or the facilitation of processes relevant to these facilities; as well as entities primarily engaged in investing in or financing such companies.
